Tereza Crvenkovic
Objective:
Tereza Crvenković is an interdisciplinary artist, who works across literary writing, storytelling, digital and photographic media, dance, performance and cross-cultural genres. A 2-x kidney transplant recipient (1992 & 2017) and stroke survivor (2009), her creative work explores the complexities and contradictions of living with chronic renal failure from childhood onwards. Tereza’s objective is to reveal the personal, silent narratives of the patient/survivor otherwise concealed from public view.
With brand new artwork and an exhibition at the Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre in Sydney, Tereza needed a website to showcase her artwork, story and event details.

When i connected with Tereza on video call her story stood out, a yearning to be understood. Her art is so unique, I felt like a minimalistic website design would fade into the background and her art shine through on every page. Tereza didn’t have a logo for her art, she was after something simple with her name. I created a very simple logo with the text and a light pink sectioned border around her name, symbolising the border of her art. She loved the colours and the Typography I chose for her. We decided to include a more detailed individual gallery of her artwork, explaining the mediums, feelings and where the images were taken. The Exhibition Paradoxes of Paradise will be on until September 24th, so if you are local to Sydney, its a great opportunity to go have a look!
